Port Elizabeth

Stories and Photos from my visit to Nelson Mandela Bay.

Destination 》AfricaSouth Africa 》Port Elizabeth

Year Visited: 2018 – Mar

I was traveling to South Africa, Lesotho and eSwatini with an organized overland tour in a purpose built 4×4 for last couple of weeks, After visiting Addo National Park, I said good-bye to my travel-mates and continued travelling solo, the first stop was Port Elizabeth.

Port Elizabeth, or just PE, is South Africa‘s fifth largest city and is located on the Indian Ocean coast half-way between Cape Town and Durban. Also known as the friendly city and the windy city, it tends to live up to both names. The city offers comfortable hotels, beautiful and clean beaches, fancy restaurants, beach front bars, music, everything you can think of after spending last couple weeks in the National Parks.

Two days in the city was just to relax and enjoy beach, my hotel was strategically located on the beach.
