Destination 》Africa 》South Africa
Year Visited: 2018 – Feb / Mar
I visited South Africa as a part of 21 days South Africa, Lesotho and eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) overland tour in a purpose built 4×4 truck, visiting one national park to another, covering eight major national parks. I had most wonderful time and met amazing people during the tour.
South Africa, often referred to as the “rainbow nation” because of its multi-ethnic society encompassing a wide variety of cultures, languages, and religions, is a country on the southernmost tip of the African continent, marked by several distinct ecosystems. Inland safari destination Kruger National Park is populated by big game. The Western Cape offers beaches, lush wine-lands around Stellenbosch and Paarl, craggy cliffs at the Cape of Good Hope, forest and lagoons along the Garden Route, and the city of Cape Town, beneath flat-topped Table Mountain.
Below are some places I explored during my three weeks in South Africa. Click on any City / National Park to view my travel photos and stories.
After three weeks in South Africa, Lesotho and eSwatini, I took a non-stop flight to Dubai, my first time in UAE.
