Former Soviet Union (FSU), also known as the former Soviet Republics or the post-Soviet states, are the 15 sovereign states that emerged and re-emerged from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) following its breakup in 1991.

During my travels I visited few Break-away countries, which are NOT recognized by any other UN member country in the world. These self-proclaimed, unrecognized countries were part of former USSR.

In May 2017, 23 days before I was going to complete 50 years, grabbed an opportunity and took an early retirement.. Picked up a backpack and traveling ever since.. Love to travel around the world, experience different culture, local cuisine & drinks .. and take pictures.. so far been to 108 countries and still counting...
